How do I work?
My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and deeply rooted in cultural awareness. I see therapy as a partnership. A space where we explore your experiences together, honor where you come from, and uncover what helps you feel more grounded, confident, and true to yourself.
I use an integrative approach, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means our work will blend reflection and insight with practical tools and strategies that help you live in alignment with your values and goals.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: you are not the problem. The problem is the problem. So often, we internalize the challenges we face as personal flaws, when in reality, they’re shaped by our stories, environments, and experiences. In therapy, we’ll work together to separate who you are from what you’re struggling with, focusing on your existing strengths, values, and hidden possibilities. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more in control of your life, and more aligned with who you want to be.
Who do I work with?
I work with teens, adults, and families, creating a supportive and collaborative space for reflection, growth, and healing. My clients include parents, professionals, students, and couples and those from diverse backgrounds who are navigating the complexities of identity, relationships, and life transitions.
I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, affirming care for marginalized and underserved individuals and I specialize in working with children of immigrants, members of the South Asian diaspora, and the LGBTQ+ community. My approach is culturally informed and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to a space where their story is valued and their voice is heard.
The individuals I work with often seek support around anxiety, depression, burnout, job stress, self-esteem, family expectations, identity development, and relationship conflict. Some are learning to better understand themselves and their values, while others are working to heal from past experiences and create more fulfilling patterns in their lives.
No matter what brings you to therapy, this is a space where every part of your story is welcome. Your culture, your history, your struggles, and your strengths. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered as you reconnect with your values and build a life that feels true to you.
