Trauma

Trauma is more than a single event. It’s the lasting imprint of fear, helplessness, or pain that can shape how you experience the world long after the moment has passed. It can show up in unexpected ways: hypervigilance, emotional numbness, difficulty trusting others, or a deep sense of disconnection from yourself.

In our work together, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe. My trauma-informed approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, and somatic and mindfulness-based techniques to help you process and release what’s been held in both the body and mind. We’ll focus on creating safety first through building the capacity to understand and soothe your internal experiences without being overwhelmed by them.

Healing from trauma doesn’t mean erasing your past; it means reclaiming your power from it. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel grounded, whole, and able to move through the world with renewed strength and self-compassion.
