Anxiety
-

Anxiety can feel like your mind never turns off. A constant hum of “what ifs,” self-doubt, or fear of letting others down. It can show up as overthinking, restlessness, or the sense that you’re always waiting for something to go wrong. For some of us, it can show up as somatic symptoms such as stomachaches and headaches. When anxiety takes hold, it can pull you out of the present moment and leave you feeling disconnected from peace and ease.
In our work together, we’ll take time to understand how anxiety shows up for you: the patterns, pressures, and past experiences that might be fueling it. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices to help you recognize anxious thoughts, reduce avoidance, and learn skills for grounding and emotional regulation.
Why work with me:
Beyond managing symptoms, therapy with me will allow you to get to the root of your anxiety and rebuild a sense of trust in yourself and your ability to handle life’s challenges. I do not just provide you with a list of skills, but rather, my goal is to help you move from living in constant alertness to living with confidence, clarity, and calm. We will work together to create a tool kit that’s built just for you.
